The device pilot initiative enables customers to purchase bundled iphone+plan products on Mintmobile.com. The ecommerce team worked on creating the UI for the product details page, cart, checkout, and integrated a robust anti-fraud module to check for potential fraudulent orders.

As a front-end engineer part of the ECOMM team, I developed a validation flow to optimize the information we provided to customers and retailers regarding network coverage and device compatibility. Users input their zip code and device brand and model to receive coverage and compatibility results.

We created this module to ensure a given user's phone was 4G LTE and VoLTE friendly. Users have the option to select their phone from a dropdown or enter their IMEI. A results modal, displaying compatibility data, opens after a user submits their input.

eSIM Free Trial
The objective of this initiative was to enable Mint Mobile prospect customers, with an eSIM compatible device, to immediately try our network and services with a 7-day Free eSIM trial plan. We achieved this through a React driven module that prompted users for basic device information and returned whether their device was compatible with the trial.
